Director’s Message

On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, I warmly welcome all our current and prospective families. Levon & Hasmig Tavlian Preschool and Kindergarten is more than an educational institution; it is a vibrant community where young minds are nurtured, creativity is encouraged, and lifelong learning begins.

At Tavlian, we believe in fostering a love for learning from an early age. Our dedicated educators create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. We emphasize the development of the whole child, focusing on academic excellence, and social, emotional, and physical growth.

Our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity and a passion for discovery. Through structured activities and play-based learning, we cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. We celebrate each child’s unique strengths and encourage them to explore their interests and talents.

A cornerstone of our philosophy is the celebration and preservation of Armenian heritage and culture. We offer a rich cultural program that introduces our students to the Armenian language, history, traditions, and values. Through music, dance, literature, and art, we connect our children to their roots, fostering a strong sense of identity and community. This cultural immersion enriches their educational experience and instills pride and appreciation for their heritage.

In addition to our cultural programs, we provide a comprehensive STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. Our hands-on, learn-through-play experiences allow children to explore and experiment, fostering problem-solving skills and innovative thinking. By engaging in activities that integrate these disciplines, our students develop a strong foundation for future success.
